Adult Education, Florida Department of Education

Supporting the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE), Adult Education programs through the Institue for the Professional Development of Adult Educators (IPDAE), we design, build, and deliver high-quality sustained PD courses online for teachers of adult ESOL, as well as administrators of adult education programs in Florida. The Uzbekistan Education for Excellence Program

In a collaborative effort with the Uzbekistan Ministry of Preschool and School Education (MoPSE) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), we worked under the leadership of RTI International and the Learning Systems Institute at Florida State University to develop EFL standards based on the CEFR for Languages, selected and customized EFL textbooks for grades 1-11, and developed and delivered PD materials and training to EFL teachers in Uzbekistan. TESOL International

As a lead instructor with TESOL International's TESOL Core Certificate Program (TCCP) and Training of Trainers (TOT) program, we provide professional development and teacher certification to EFL teachers around the globe. For more information, please click here

English language programs

Through interviewing candidates and preparing project descriptions for the Fellow Program, as well as serving as a contributor to the Online Professional English Network (OPEN) Program, I collaborate with the U.S. Department of State's English Language Programs to place highly qualified TESOL educators on projects around the world to support English language programs and engage in public diplomacy for mutual understanding through cultural exchange.
